Yaazhi Films is an independent film production company from Tamil Nadu founded by Vignesh Sundaresan. To Vignesh, the inherently decentralized and uncensorable nature of blockchain represented a promise of financial liberation. The same ideology that drew him into the world of blockchain also informs his pas- sion for film. Just as financial systems limit opportunity, sweeping cultural currents limit identity. They reinforce biases of race, class, and caste, by deciding what lens the world will view a particular demographic from. And by also deciding what kind of art a particular demographic will consume.

The idea is a simple reconstruction of the Yaazhi, a Tamil mythological creature, in a vector format. The idea and the logo is self explanatory.
